Last weekend Sarah threw her 2nd annual Friends-giving. Yummy food and awesome friends. Of course pin the tail on the my little pony was a hit. No, that is not my coat.

today included some reading, my typical breakfast (coffee with apples and pb), and making honey & herb biscuits from scratch.

Just like last year, I spent Halloween evening with the family that I babysitt for. It was a little chilly but we had a great time. I was a cat, but only from the neck up....too cold to go without a long coat. No idea who the dog or owner is but they were more than happy to pose for a picture. LOVE the lobster costume!

I went to the final SOWA market of the season and it was COLD! The shaded areas still had a bit of leftover snow. The mood was quite festive with many of the artists dressed in costumes. I had a yummy sandwhich at Grilled Cheese Nation. Brussel sprouts have been a new obsession of mine... baked to a nice crisp.

I spent this morning at kid soccer. It's a good thing they were cute because it was COLD! Like, under 40 degrees cold. I'm SO not ready for winter.

Weekend Photo Class

 

 

 

 

 

I took a great class over the weekend to finally learn how to use my camera. It was described as a photo tour and was exactly what I needed. We sat inside for a little over an hour going over buttons and what they do. Then we hit the streets. Trial and error with a teacher to check in with. He gave us multiple "assignments" and was there to help when needed. It was super helpful. Now I just have to actually remember everything. Thank goodness I took notes.

Yes, that's my back. No, I didn't get into a really strange fight. I had a cupping treatment by my acupuncturist this week.

For the first time in my life as an adult I have towels that are all the same color and actually match my shower curtain. It feels very adult.
