So.....I got on the scale this morning and to my suprise it said 133.5! It's a fairly new scale so it should be accurate. Even if it isn't, I'll take it!
Most of my pants aren't fitting so well anymore so today I am rewarding myself with a new pair! After I get some of this crazy end of the semester work out of the way.
Happy weekend!

warm!
Wow! What a difference a week makes. Last week we were in sweaters and heavy coats and today it was 86 degrees in the city. How crazy! I guess we missed spring somewhere. Anything but the rain and cold. I will have to post some pics. of my suntan/burn from the weekend. But, I have lots of school work.
Friday afternoon Ed, me, Meg, and Willy(dog) took a nice walk around the lake in Wakefield. It's 3 miles all the way around. We did the same thing the next morning but with Wendy and Arch (her bf).It was so warm out! Ed and I did some warm weather errands Sunday like buying soil, potters, flowers and herbs. It was nice not to have to wear a coat!
There is a big flowering tree outside my apt. window that smells great!
Ok, back to work!

The new me!
#1-2
Here are shots of my new hair! I had it done Tuesday at a great salon in Cambridge. Check out their site here: http://www.msaloncambridge.com/main.html
It took around 2 1/2 hours and the best part.....it cost NOTHING! Totally free! It's hard to get a great picture without it glaring. The first picture probably gives you the best idea.

It must be getting warmer, the Duck Boats are back on the streets! (and in the water)

Here is Ed next to a giant jar of peanut butter. This was at the Marathon Expo over the weekend.

Crazy Girls' Sleep Over
It started out being just the girls, but then there was a visit from the boys. We had such a great time. Studies say that laughter keeps you healthy. If that's true we will be living until age 125. I can't wait to schedule the next one!
1. L to R: Meg, Betsy, ME!, and Wendy
2. We weren't quite exciting enough for Ed=)
3. L to R: Barry and John (no, that is not a typical outfit for Barry!)
4. Wendy's cat Baily wasn't impressed
5. Lots and lots of laughter

Busy in Boston!
There are lots of things happening this weekend in Boston. From the picture, it's obviously marathon weekend. Then there's the more famous event: the first annual girl's slumber party at Wendy's house! That is tonight and it will be awesome! Ed is volunteering for the marathon, it's his 17th year! He gets cool free stuff like the offical windbreaker that others have to pay $80 for. Of course, he got an extra for me so I too can look cool. =) This weekend also marks the end of my first week at a new internship which i really love. They teach totally communication to the students which is speech, sign language, and body language. Depending on their disability, at least one of these will help them communicate with the world. I am excited to be in a signing environment again and have learning SO many new signs this week already!
If you are interested in learning more about signs this is a great page!

new place
this is where i am now interning.
http://mercycentre.com/
it's TOTALLY different from Star House. It's a school for kids with developmental disabilities. I have only been there for 2 days, but I really like it. My supervisor is awesome. Much less incredible stress. The down side is that I have to leave my house around 6:30AM 2 days a week. I am the last person anyone would want to be around in the morning!
still dealing with the picture/blog issue =(

AHHH!!!!
Not sure what the current issue with blogging is. For whatever reason it is not letting me post pictures. I have so many to share and it's driving me crazy not being ably to put them up. Hopefully soon.
It is still cold here in Boston. Yesterday we got a lot of snow and tons of wind. The snow stopped and turns to pouring down rain and still windy and super cold. Snow and rain is gone, but we have cold and wind.

Music Therapy Conference
So, from Thursday through Saturday I was in Newport, Rhode Island. It was the annual New England Region conference of music therapy. It was such an amazing time!!!!! I thought I would share just a few of the pictures from this great experience. I am having trouble getting them on there. I am going to keep trying, but it might have to be tomorrow.
mmmmm!
This is a picture of the cake that I made for my last day at Star House March 28. Everyone loved it.
