Ed and I spent this weekend in NJ. His mother recently had open heart surgery so we went for a visit. Sunday was the best part because I went onto NYC for the whole day! A bus took me from the end of Ed's parents' street right into Times Square. It was so wonderful to be there! I walked all day long. All the way down to the Strand bookstore-my favorite-to find they were having a huge book clearance with most books under $2. I stocked up for summer.

ahhhh....the strand! i use my bright green canvas bag often and think of our hot summer afternoon wandering the streets of the city with fondness.... :-)
